  Food is really good and happy hour beers were a great deal. But the service was simply awful. Our appetizer was clearly left sitting a while. We only got one happy hour beer because it took half an hour to finally get, after which the server made some excuses and we hoped maybe she'd try to step up her game, but alas. She did not. My meal showed up incorrect, but she never came back to check in so I wasn't able to address it. It took the manager noticing me looking around bewildered for our phantom server to get it fixed. Then she finally appeared again and made some more excuses. When she brought the corrected order, she handed it literally over the back of the booth to avoid us, and sent someone else to deliver the check. When she came back for that, she made one last excuse (but never one apology).
  
  Again, great food, and the manager was clearly working hard trying to take care of people all night. Would love to improve my review some day, but right now, I just can't.
